THE ORIGINS OF THIS VARIETY ARE TO BE FOUND IN ITS ANCESTORS: INDICA PLANTS FROM AFGHANISTAN, IMPORTED TO THE USA IN THE 70’S AND SINCE IMPROVED UPON.
The sweet and fruity flavor along with a pungent smell was so popular that ten years later it arrived in Holland and became one of the classic home-grown varieties.
It had a very important role in the history of breeding: it is the source of a variety that led not only to a generation of strains such as N//1, NL//2, NL//5 but also successful hybrids like Skunk and Haze.
To obtain this delicacy, our breeders first crossed NL with a ruderalis, selected the best phenotypes which were then crossed again with NL and so on until they obtained an extremely stable and productive third generation autoflowering variety.
FEATURES
This is a predominantly Indica variety, with a stocky and sturdy stem, sparse branching, and classic Indica structured leaves.
During flowering it becomes almost entirely white due to the white hairs and the enormous amount of resin produced.
The buds are hard and compact, typical of Indica, and as such are resistant to mould and moisture.
Highly appreciated especially by careful growers: NL gives off very little odour even at the end of the flowering phase.
It is very resistant to stress and pests.
From the start of germination, it takes a little over 60 days to reach the end of flowering, growing to an average of 70 to 100 cm.
