Dj Short worked on sativa varieties from Panama, Mexico, Colombia and Thailand.
His work led him to two varieties: the first was a Highland known as "Juice Fruit", the second was a kind of Thai Purple grown in Oregon, a mix between an Oaxaca Gold Highland and a Thai Chocolate.
The hybrid that resulted from the union of these two varieties was very dark in colour and expressed a purple tone with minimal exposure to low temperatures.
Dj Short chose an Indica-Afghana male for a three-way cross and produced one of the most sought-after strains in the world, both for its inimitable blueberry taste and its really powerful high, not least for its enchanting colours.
